The Annual Holiday Club at Central

In 2015 it was Polar Explorers fun!

polarexplorersThe annual summer holiday club at the Central Methodist Church in Launceston always provides great fun and a chance to make new friends with other children. The 2015 club was no exception with the event taking place from 10th-14th August with more than fifty children enjoying the fun, games, and craft.

The week was entitled ‘Polar Explorers and featured daily activities such as a brilliantly fun aerobic warm-up time, songs, a drama and plenty of high activity games. There was also craftwork, a video and stories which followed the Biblical theme of the day.

A special guest for the week was Mr Snowman who told us he enjoys ‘Frosties’ and ice cubes for breakfast!

On Sunday 16th August the club and many of their parents joined together for a morning celebration ‘Polar Explorers’ event with the remainder of the church being given a snapshot of the fun week. The service was led by Rev Malcolm Jones and the Polar Explorers team.

You can view a snapshot video of the weeks fun here (do join us for the 2016 club - 15th to 19th & 21st August).
