Worship at Central Methodist Church Launceston

Sunday Services are at 10.30am and 6.30pm

Worship is at the centre of what we are about at Central. Our desire is to have our lives touched by the Spirit of God.
Our services vary considerably in style as our goal is to provide for people a worship style that is appropriate for them.

On the first Sunday of each month the at 10.30am there is a family service. Family Services aimed at young families and children - of all ages!

The music style involves a combination of hymns and worship songs. A worship group with tracks leads the contemporary styled music.

Once a month we celebrate Holy Communion and invite everyone who is seeking God to participate.

10.30am Sunday Morning Worship: This starts with the whole church family together. After 15 minutes the children leave for Club Sunday (there is a crèche for 1-3 year olds).

Sunday Evening Worship Each Week
6.30pm: Traditional Worship on the 1st Sunday of the month.
6.30pm: 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays - '245 Revive' worship in a contemporary style. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.
4 pm: 'Tea Time Service' (cafe church in the hall) - relaxed traditional style of worship on the 3rd Sunday on the month.
6.30 pm: 'Praise & Learning', a relaxed home group style of service with song, prayer and teaching - on the 3rd Sunday on the month.
Healing Service: On the first Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. we have a healing service with Holy Communion.

Worship Bands: We do not currently have a live band but have a number of singing groups which use good quality worship backing tracks.
